What all have to take care of a monarch butterfly?
It is the butterfly who has joined myself and did not seem to want to leave, but he's hurt. I thought I could put it in a net cage, and let it heal, but what can I put there for food and water?
They can only live of milkweed plants. not just any plant. requires water and shade. do not put them in sunlight because the caterpillars will melt. make sure there are plenty of milkweed plants in their cage.
